All Aboard the Choo Choo Charlie Train!

Choo Choo Charlie is our newest foster cat. Rescued in Cairo, Egypt after suffering a debilitating train accident during which he lost his back legs. Choo Choo had an initial surgical operation to pull muscle and skin over the stump of the left leg, to provide some padding. However, the surgical site became infected.

Following a review, it was recommended that Choo Choo undergo further surgery to reduce the size of the left leg in the hope it will make it easier for him to move around, be less prone to injury, and be more suitable for a prosthesis.

This campaign is to raise the funds to pay for this second round of surgery scheduled for May 5th and the subsequent rehabilitation and prosthetics to help him live as fulfilling a life as possible.
